My Personal Story
Hi, I’m Candice—and for a long time, I didn’t feel like me anymore.
I used to be the one lighting up every room I walked into. A friend even nicknamed me “The Party Starter” because I brought the energy, the laughter, the life. I was confident. Carefree. Full of passion and joy. I loved living. And then... life happened.
In just a few years, everything changed.
I became a wife at 37. Then a mom—twice—at ages 40 and 41. And while I was incredibly grateful, I was also exhausted. I was navigating toddlerhood, marriage, and the constant pressure to “do it all.” Then, at 43, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. At 44, I lost my mom. The weight of grief, survival, and responsibility crushed any trace of the vibrant woman I used to be.
I didn’t recognize myself anymore. I had poured everything into everyone else, and I was running on fumes—mentally, physically, emotionally. I missed her—the fun, fierce, flirty version of me that had gotten lost under layers of stress, pain, and self-sacrifice.
That’s when the seed for EDEN was planted.
I knew I couldn’t be the only woman craving a comeback. Not just a return to herself—but a rebirth.
The EDEN REtreat is my love letter to women who’ve been through it. Who’ve carried the weight of the world and still kept going.
